SASS MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA – GENERAL GUIDELINES*

1. Applicants must be a business registered in Singapore with the Registrar of Companies ands Businesses.

2. Must be in an established ship supply business or have other proof of good and respectable standing in the trade.

3. a. For Ordinary Membership:
                        
             Direct ship suppliers.
   
    b. For Associate Membership:

             Related / Associated to direct ship suppliers.

4. A minimum of 5 employees excluding directors.

5. Proposed and seconded by two SASS Ordinary Members, one of whom must be a Council member.

6. All sole proprietors, partners, directors and /or senior executives free of any criminal conviction/record (excluding spent convictions),    and of sound commercial reputation.

7. Must be prepared for visit/site verification by Council members.

8. Supporting documents required:

    Current business / company profile print out from the Registrar of Companies and Businesses.

9. For private limited company applicant, the paid up capital must be of a respectable amount.
